After-church Lunch & Fellowship: We are asking for a few people to facilitate lunch
and fellowship at the MSMH building after Sunday's 11:05 service. Guests include
clients who are active members of the MSMH weekly programs and also attend church.
A typical lunch gathering lasts about one hour and consists of a light lunch provided
by the ministry. It's a great way to make some new friends! This position can be
on a rotating basis if enough volunteers come forward.
Food Pick-Up: Chick-Fil-A is extremely generous to this ministry, but we need
a few people to help us pick up donated food on Saturday nights at about 11 p.m. We
do have some volunteers already in place, but need a list of fall-back volunteers to
accomplish this important task. If you're a night owl, here's a great opportunity for
you to serve! The times range from 10:30 to 11:30 p.m. (more than one location).
Phone Ministry: We're looking for phone callers to follow up with MSMH clients
to see how they are doing, remind them of upcoming events, and show that we care. This
position's duties can be accomplished from the comfort of your home.
Interviewers: We have a steady stream of new visitors to our night-time events,
and we would like to get to know them better. This position entails interviewing new
folks so that we can learn how best to serve them. Each interview takes about 15 minutes.
Coaches: Many of our clients need someone to show them the way to live a better life.
