Our mission is to equip the saints with an effective application of the message of Jesus Christ that brings hope and opportunity to the children and families in at-risk communities.

Nehemiah Ministries is the result of 15 years of ministry to the Third Ward community in Houston. We provide free mentoring and consultation to churches wishing to create new daycare/after-school centers in their own community. We offer a proven plan of action, from initial vision through "opening day" and beyond -- providing our clients a wealth of knowledge and experience for up to three years without charge. Ours is a multi-faceted ministry model utilizing education, emotional wellness, and spiritual enrichment to assist low-income families who are committed to a better future for their children. The model can be replicated in every church family with a heart for helping its neighbors; we are presently in covenant with three non-profits to birth new centers.
