Barbara Allen Named Executive Director of

Main Street Ministries Houston

November 20, 2019-Main Street Ministries Houston (MSM) announced that Barbara Allen is its new Executive Director effective December 4, 2019.

"We are delighted that Barbara will be joining us as Executive Director", said James S. D'Agostino Jr., Chairman of the Board of MSM. Barbara brings strong executive skills having most recently been Chief Operating Officer of Ronald McDonald House Houston where she oversaw a nearly $25 million expansion. But importantly, she also brings over two decades of experience serving the needs of as risk families."

We believe that Barbara's capabilities will enable Main Street Ministries through our over 300 volunteers to continue to share the love of Christ and empower our community's most vulnerable to experience stability, purpose, and renewal."

Ms. Allen was founding director of God's Little Angels, director of Little Lambs Early Childhood Center, and founding executive director of Nabor House Community.

Ms. Allen graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree; she has a Master in Education from Stephen F. Austin University: and a Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership from Rice University Center for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership.
